GUNS ARE NOT THE SOLUTION...

No one is untouched by hue and cry which has messed up the life of the people of Kashmir.Stone pelting on security personals and firing from the side of forces on mob has given the crispy headlines to newspapers and TV channels.Curfew has been continuously clamped and common Kashmiri is suffering.Educational institutions, markets and transportation has badly affected.Farooq Abdullah Union Minister for Renewable energy and former J&K Chief Minister said in Lok Sabha on Thursday,''SPEECHES WILL NOT WIN HEARTS''.His speech was very meaningful in numerous ways.Past several months Kashmir is boiling. Everyday people are being killed and injured in clashes with forces. Now it is the need of hour to end the bone of contention.Surely, Talk is the solution of such a typical problem instead of guns. This is the democratic country and everyone has full right to say his/her words.Being a border state peaceful talk in the matter of Kashmir is more essential Separatists has strong hold in valley.Above the political benefits every political party must take the concern of this serious issue because neighboring countries e.g. China and Pakistan can enjoy the benefit of this uproar in the valley.
Along with these steps some long term developmental programmes should be framed so that youths of the valley can be diverted towards mainstream. No stone should be left unturned for the all round development of the state. If such constructive aims will be fulfilled then once again Kashmir will be transformed into 'SWARG'(heaven).

''NUKKAR NATAK" EFFECTIVE METHOD OF COMMUNICATION

Society and culture vary country to country. Needs and problems of every society is different. India is full of diversity. There are 28 states and every state has its own characteristics. People of different culture, language, reside in these states. If we peep into Indian history, so many evils such as Baal Vivah, Sati Pratha, etc. were prevalent in those times. Reformers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Swami Vivekanand and others adopted scientific and modern attitude towards life so that society can be released from the chains of such evils. Before and after the independence of India so many efforts were done to end different evils.

In 21st century India is still struggling with multiple problems like Female Foeticide, Dowry system, Drug addiction, Child Marriage, Religious Riots, Honor Killing, etc. A lot of laws have been framed against these practices. Government is spending handsome amount of money and doing campaigns through advertisements to enforce such laws .But expected success is miles away. It is well known fact that these problems can't be solved in a short time span. Slowly and gradually such evils can be eradicated.

In this situation "Nukkar Natak" (street plays) can play a vital role to save our society from such practices. It is the only mean of communication which directly hits people's mind and help them to differentiate between right and wrong. Such problems are prevalent mostly in illiterate and backward societies where people are not much aware about their rights and responsibilities. Especially rural areas can be chosen to be played Nukkar Natak. It is played purely in the language of people of that particular region or place. Because of this characteristic people become more attentive.

Moreover, in far flung areas where people are not aware about various welfare schemes, they can be simply educated about these plans. Surely, with the encouragement of such plays we can get rid of from the curse of corruption also.

It is the moral responsibility of intellectuals and central and state governments to encourage such Nobel cause through which society and country can be made free from such bad practices.
