LANGUAGE,REGIONALISM AND POLITICS

Mumbai,Marathi,and non-Marathi is not the new issue.The recent comments of Bal Thackrey chief of Shiv Sena for Rahul Gandhi in the the paty's mouthpiece 'Saamna'have created chaos among political setup of congress in which he called Rahul a frustrated bachelor and also insulted Indian National Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi by quoting her Italian Mummy.
Both Shiv Sena and MNS are in race to get kingship of Maharashtra.Bal Thackrey is not ready to accept the dominance of Raj Thackrey in Maharashtra's politics.No doubt, coming legislative assembly election of Bihar has compelled Rahul Gandhi to take interest in this whole matter.
Infact, to remain in news Thackreys' are in habit of giving such controversial and provocative statements.Earlier, they blamed Sachin Tendulkar,ShahRukh Khan and other celebrities because they accept that Mumbai belongs to Marathi-speaking People and dared to say that it belongs to every Indian.Well,Thackreys' should refer to Indian constitution where it is mentioned that every citizen of India can reside and work anywhere in this country.Political parties whether it is Congress,MNS,Shiv Sena,BJP, etc.should concern with actual problems of country like terrorism,inflation,education,employment etc. rather to mess up on such non-sense issues.Here,media is lacking behind to raise such important issues and it is being used by some narrow minded people for their own interests.

IPL Fiasco and Media

Boycott of Pakistani cricket players in IPL auction has made a lot of hue and cry.Media also jumped in this ground and hyping the issue uneccessarily.Media has become the agent of high profile people and exchanging their statements.Media should mind that IPL is not that important issue than other issues which are of great importance like increasing prices of food commodities,suicide being committed by teenagers,and other burning issues.The newspapers and news channels are giving space to these unnecessary issues which are of no use for common man.Media should come out from Raj Thackrey,Bal Thackrey, Shiv Sena and others because media is being used by these people for their own interests.When media will boycott such non sense issues and start paying attention towards serious issues then media will justify its role in the society.

BITTER TASTE OF SUGAR

From past few times we have seen the sky rocketting prices of food items.But,the sugar prices have disturbed the budget of AAM ADMI, price of sugar has reached to more that 40 rupees/kg.Farmers get 180 to 200 rupees per quintal for sugarcane and common man including farmers buy sugar for more than 40 rupees /kg.It is well known fact that shopkeepers and other businessmen are doing blackmarketing of sugar ,government and authorities are well aware about it but they are just watching the worst situation of common man.Fast growth rate is of no use for common man because he wants food on cheaper rate.Not only prices of sugar but prices of other eatables are also beyond the reach of common man.Dr. Manmohan Singh and other responsible people should firstly look into this matter instead of giving statements on Ruchika and SPS Rathore's case because court knows its work very well.It is the responsibilty of media to focus such problem on the place of spoiling too much time in Ruchika case and other Masala news.Agriculture minister Mr.Sharad Pawar has only prepared statement that food inflation will be under control with in few days he should come with some solid solution rather that befooling the people.Everyone should realise the condition of food crises in the world if in this situation if farmers will be deserted then how can we ensure the food security for our nation?
